Studiotoff and the new owner saw the potential long before the walls revealed it. Together, they stood in the old rooms, reimagining every space and shaping a vision for the future, a future where Villa Damatura would become the elegant big sister of Casa Damatura.

Four generous bedrooms. Three calm, crafted bathrooms. A living room that breathes. A kitchen that anchors the home. A workspace that inspires…. Every decision was made together. The renovation became a collaboration in the truest sense a dance between vision, trust, and craftsmanship.

Two Years of Building, Learning, and Becoming

Renovating in Italy is never a straight path. Permits take patience, construction brings surprises, and the land itself has its own rhythm. But through every challenge, the owner remained present, engaged, and full of belief in the process. There were days when dust covered everything, and days when a single achievement made us stop and smile. The moment the kitchen ceiling lifted, the moment the first furniture piece arrived, the moment the pool filled with water, each milestone felt like a chapter in a story we were writing together.

A Gift of Collaboration AskogEng

One of the most beautiful turns in this story was the collaboration with AskogEng, the renowned Norwegian design company. a true gift that elevated the entire project.

Together with us and the owner, they designed the breathtaking kitchen and many of the custom furniture pieces. Their Scandinavian clarity blended seamlessly with our southern Italian warmth, creating a home that feels layered, balanced, and deeply personal.

Outside, the garden already feels like a small paradise. The large swimming pool invites endless afternoons, and quiet corners offer space to read, rest, or simply enjoy the Italian outdoors. This autumn, the garden will be shaped even further, and by spring it will bloom into a joyful oasis, full of colour, nature, and life.
